This Day in History: 1964-11-15

At the end of 1964, a new brick railway station replaced the series of corrugated iron offices at the Bolgart Siding. Bolgart stationmaster Sam Arangio arranged an official opening ceremony, with the help of the Bolgart Branch of the Farmers’ Union of Western Australia.
