This Day in History: 1963-11-30

A new Dodge ambulance had been obtained by the Toodyay Sub-Centre of the St. John Ambulance Association. At a gathering in Toodyay Memorial Hall, Committee member Leo Ayling introduced Dr. Joseph Hans Stubbe, the President of the St. John Ambulance Association in Western Australia, who handed the ambulance keys to the Sub-Centre President Keable D. Lee. Rev. Father John Chokolich and the Anglican Rev. Mark Kirby then dedicated and blessed the vehicle.
