This Day in History: 1961-02-20

A public meeting, chaired by Edward Davy, Vice Chairman of the Toodyay Road Board, was held in Toodyay to discuss the proposed renovation of the old Gaol in Clinton Street and an associated project of a historical museum of historical interest. Although the attendance was disappointingly small (7 Board Members and 7 public and business men), most were supportive of the proposals.
