This Day in History: 1957-09-14
The Toodyay Road Board Secretary reported that the new tree planting in Toodyay’s Stirling Terrace had been finished. The Peppermint trees had died, but it is assumed the NSW (or British) Box, Kurrajong, Red Flowering Gum and Hill’s Weeping Fig (Ficus hillii) trees had survived.
