This Day in History: 1955-09-10

The Toodyay Road Board, with the agreement of the Toodyay RSL Sub-branch, decided to temporarily erect playground equipment on part of the RSL block (now Newcastle Park) in Stirling Terrace. The equipment had been funded by a Lotteries Commission grant of £150.
