A public meeting was held in the Toodyay Town Hall, organized by the Toodyay Road Board, to discuss the plan to start a medical school in Western Australia. Despite the poor attendance (26 people), a fund-raising committee was formed, chaired by the Road Board Chairman. The Board contributed £25.
