This Day in History: 1953-03-05

It was reported that the Toodyay State School had started a museum of objects related to natural history and also to Toodyay’s early history. The collection grew rapidly, and contained old coins, old school books, native (Noongar) and other weapons and mineral examples. The museum was open to the public on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
