At the Toodyay Sports Council’s second gymkhana and sports meeting at the Toodyay Racecourse, the committee launched its own merry-go-round. Construction started a few weeks before this event. Built mainly by voluntary labour, the ride featured six gondolas and five aeroplanes. Designing engineers were Messrs. W. Graham, J. Loep, and Graham Jones. Messrs.
