This Day in History: 1946-02-16

At a public auction at the site of the Field Signal Headquarters in Toodyay, Elder, Smith & Co. in conjunction with G.C. Curlewis (Commonwealth Disposal Commission), offered for sale, demolition and removal, various underground offices, rooms and covered communications trenches on Mt. Pelham, which had been formerly used by military personnel.
