This Day in History: 1944-01-22

At a public meeting in the Toodyay Town Hall, chaired by Mr. G. B. Woods, M.L.C., it was decided that a Sub-Centre of the St. John Ambulance Association would be formed in Toodyay. The Sub-Centre had to be formed before permission or release of an ambulance from the Association’s Head Office in Perth, could be obtained.
