This Day in History: 1933-12-18
A public farewell was tendered in the Toodyay Town Hall to the head teacher of the Toodyay State School, Robert Alfred Johnstone, who had been transferred to West Northam. Johnstone had been at teaching in Toodyay for 8 years. Mr. and Mrs. Johnstone were presented with a handsome clock and a fruit bowl.
