This Day in History: 1933-12-11
The grandstand, fencing and small outhouses at the Toodyay Showgrounds were destroyed by fire. The prompt arrival of the fire brigade saved the exhibition hall, the refreshment rooms and dressing sheds from a similar fate. The buildings were insured.
