This Day in History: 1933-10-21

1933 October 21-24: The town of Toodyay had decided to celebrate its centenary in 1933, believing that the old townsite had been surveyed in 1833. The Toodyay Centenary Committee arranged four days of celebration. Northam celebrated its Centenary in the same year, holding its Centenary Week from 25 Sept.
