This Day in History: 1932-01-23

Following an adjourned meeting in Toodyay on 16 January, farmers of the district met at the Toodyay Road Board Chambers, and formed a branch of the Primary Producers’ Association. This attempt to unite the two existing associations, the P.P.A. and the Wheat Growers’ Union drew a fair gathering of farmers, extending over a sixty-mile radius. Delegates to attend the forthcoming conference were elected.
