This Day in History: 1931-01-02

Wilfred Murray Ferguson became the Editor of the Toodyay Herald. 

 Wilf, born in Toodyay, had started from school as an apprentice compositor under Edgar Turley at the Toodyay Herald in the 1920s. He had been editing the Mullewa Mail for R.S. Sampson when he transferred back to Toodyay as editor.
