This Day in History: 1930-04-12

Viticulturist Lindsay Thorn (Country Party) won the Toodyay seat in the State Legislative Assembly elections. He defeated Ignatius George Boyle, the Chairman of the Toodyay Road Board. Thorn remained the sitting member until 1959.
