This Day in History: 1929-10-05
Toodyay’s W.A. Hodgkinson and J. Donegan were part of the second prize winning Central Districts agricultural display team at the 1929 Centenary Perth Royal Show. The South West District team won the Western Mail casket, the prize for this competition, from three other district teams. It was the first time such an exhibition had been included at the Royal Show, in a purpose-built pavilion.
