This Day in History: 1929-10-05
1929 October 5-14: The 50th Troop, Toodyay, of the Boys Scouts Association attended the 21st Anniversary (Coming of Age) Rally of the Scouts at Karrakatta, which included many scouts from country areas. The Toodyay troop, led by Scoutmaster Charles Burnett, was successful in winning second place and a cup for the best, neatest and most efficient camp.
