“Donegan Family v. The Rest”. A team composed of members of the Donegan family, of Toodyay, played an eleven selected from members of the local club and won in easy fashion by 204 runs. The Donegans were well-known locally in cricketing and football circles, and during the last Country Week (cricket) Roy Donegan was chosen in the country “A” team.  On 27 January, Roy broke all local records by making 204 not out, playing for Nunyle against Coondle.
