This Day in History: 1923-11-11

The Toodyay Sub-branch of the Returned Soldiers’ League held the first Armistice Day service in Toodyay in the Town Hall. Members paraded in front of the Town Hall and paid due honor to their dead comrades. Bugler Caddy sounded the “Last Post” and the “Reveille”.
