This Day in History: 1922-11-07

At a public meeting at the Victoria Hotel, Toodyay, a Swimming Club was formed. The Chairman was Kenneth John Honey, a motor mechanic. A working bee was organized to make the landing more secure at Lloyd’s Pool on the Avon River, and to erect a spring board.
