This Day in History: 1921-01-03
A public meeting was held in Toodyay to make arrangements for the delivery of mail and transportation of provisions during a railway strike. The Toodyay and Districts Vigilance Committee was formed to establish postal and transport facilities. Henry Thomas Weston (manager of the Toodyay branch of the Western Australian Bank) was Chairman.
