This Day in History: 1920-09-15
For the Harvest Thanksgiving Services, at Evensong at 7.30 pm in St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Toodyay, the church was brilliantly lit for the first by the new electric light service provided by the Toodyay Power Station, just over the road. A “full choir tendered Semper’s Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis beautifully”.
