This Day in History: 1918-05-27

A special school of instruction in new educational methods for 27 visiting teachers commenced at the Toodyay State School under the direct supervision of Senior Inspector John Albert Miles. This was the largest school of instruction ever held in the State, at that time. The headmaster was R. Brooke Cowden.
