This Day in History: 1916-09-16

Barnard Lionel Clarkson from Toodyay was one of four Commissioners appointed to the Royal Commission on the Agricultural Industries of Western Australia on the Settled Portions of the South-West Coastal Districts. The Chairman was John Owen Giles (of Elder, Shenton and Co, Ltd.), with three other Commissioners:  Frank Evans Venn (of Dardanup Park), Henry Harold Paynter (of Woolundra) and Barnard Lionel Clarkson (of Toodyay).
