This Day in History: 1915-12-10

A local Munitions Committee was formed at a public meeting in the Toodyay Town Hall. Prof. Edward Shann spoke at the meeting. The Chairman was Charles James Cook and the Secretary Joseph Ablett Wroth. The purpose of the Committee was to raise funds by selling shares in the new War Munitions Supply Company Proprietary Limited, set up in Midland Junction.
