This Day in History: 1915-10-01

The Public Works Dept. accepted J.S. (Joseph Sidney) Bates of West Guildford’s tender to build the Bolgart State Hotel for the sum of £4,389. The hotel was designed in 1914 by the Government Chief Architect Hillson Beasley.
