This Day in History: 1913-11-28
At the monthly meeting of the Western Australian Fire Brigades Board, Board Member J.R. Campbell recommended the purchase of a brick cottage and land adjoining the Toodyay Club for £375, for a new fire station on Stirling Terrace. It was thought the present station could be shifted onto the land. This cottage is now (2021) the Country Realty office.
