This Day in History: 1909-10-13
On Show night, James Gardiner held an auction at the Victoria Hotel, Newcastle, to sell Newcastle and Bolgart properties, comprising the Bolgart Townsite of 115 blocks (opposite the Bolgart Railway Station), the North Newcastle Extension Estate (a portion of Avon Location U3) of 99 blocks, five vacant blocks on New Road, Newcastle, and a brick cottage of five rooms on Telegraph Road.
