This Day in History: 1908-09-03

1908 September 3-4: Governor Admiral Sir Frederick Bedford, Lady Bedford and Miss Bedford visited Newcastle, arriving by train. On 4 September, a public reception was held by the Newcastle Municipal Council and the Toodyay Roads Board, followed by a visit to the Newcastle State School and a country tour to the Haseley and Culham properties.
