The new Roman Catholic Church in Goomalling was dedicated to the honour of the Sacred Heart by Bishop Fulgentius Torres, D.D., Lord Abbott of New Norcia, assisted by Father Carroll and Father Mangan C.SS.R. (Redemptorists).
