This Day in History: 1906-01-16

The Bolgart Estate (Midland Lot 1832, former Midland Railway Company land, bought by the Government from W.H. Bond) was thrown open for selection. Lots 1-17 and 19 were available, ranging in size from 200 to 900 acres.
