This Day in History: 1906-01-08

A public meeting was held at the Culham Agricultural Hall, convened by the Wyening Progress Association (formed April 1905) to consider the best means of furthering the extension of the railway from Newcastle to Bolgart. W. Harrington (Chairman of the WPA) chaired the meeting which decided to send a deputation to the Premier.
