The Toodyay Road Board resolved to include women owning or occupying property in the Toodyay Road District on the next Road Board roll. The Road Board had sought advice on such from the Roads Board Association of WA after a query from Cr. Charles James Cook as to why there were no lady voters at Road Board elections.
