This Day in History: 1903-04-13

The Culham Race Club held its inaugural race meeting, which was very successful with 400-500 people attending. The Race Club Secretary was William Chitty Jnr. Archie S. Webb, licensee of the Jennacubbine Hotel, provided the publican’s booth. A ball and supper were held afterwards in the Culham Agricultural Hall.
