This Day in History: 1902-10-01

A public meeting was held at the Culham Agricultural Hall to discuss the proposed extension of the Clackline-Newcastle Railway to Culham or Bejoording. Vernon Hamersley presided. Obadiah Bull proposed a monster meeting in Newcastle and a petition to the Government. A committee was formed.
