This Day in History: 1901-04-22

Sgt. Henry W. (Harry) Clarkson was welcomed home from the 2^nd Boer War by a large gathering at the Newcastle Railway Station. A social followed at the Oddfellows’ Hall.  Another welcome was held on 16 June for S. Sinclair and T. Ralph.
