This Day in History: 1901-03-21

The first Census since Federation was conducted co-operatively by the Australian States. The population of the Toodyay Magisterial District was 1,784 males, 1,291 females, with a total 3,075 people, exclusive of full-blooded Aboriginal Noongar people.
