This Day in History: 1900-10-01
The WA Dept. of Lands and Surveys opened the Norman Area (approx. 8,000 acres) for selection (41 blocks, 101 to 292 acres in size).
The Norman Area was located about 6 miles north of Newcastle. It is now part of the locality of Nunile.
