This Day in History: 1900-01-13

A farewell social was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall, Newcastle, for Henry (Harry) Wilberforce Clarkson, who was sailing to South Africa and the Boer War on 3 February with the Second Contingent of the Western Australian Mounted Infantry.
