A valedictory address was presented to the departing Governor Sir Frederick Napier Broome at Government House Perth, by Mayor William George Leeder for the Newcastle Municipal Council, Chairman Daniel Connor for the Toodyay Roads Board, and Chairman Barnard Drummond Clarkson for the Toodyay Agricultural Society.
