This Day in History: 1884-02-04

The Government called for tenders for the repair of the Court House and other buildings in Newcastle. Mr. O’Neill [assume John May O’Neill] was awarded the contract for the Court House and hospital, and William Amed Demasson for the Residency, post office and gaol.
