This Day in History: 1880-03-31

Resident Magistrate Robert Fairbairn was farewelled from Newcastle, and presented with a special address. The occasion was the also the 3rd anniversary of the Loyal Newcastle Lodge of the Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows. Fairbairn left the district to travel to the Vasse on 3 April.
