This Day in History: 1880-03-31

Resident Magistrate Robert Fairbairn was farewelled from Newcastle, and presented with a special address. The occasion was the also the 3^rd anniversary of the Loyal Newcastle Lodge of the Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows. Fairbairn left the district to travel to the Vasse on 3 April.
