This Day in History: 1876-09-05

Having been both Resident Magistrate and Deputy Medical Officer in Pinjarrah, Dr. Arthur Edwards Growse was appointed the Medical Officer of the Toodyay District, replacing Dr. William Mayhew. Dr. Mayhew then went to Pinjarrah.
