This Day in History: 1867-06-04

The Bishop of Perth, Mathew Blagden Hale, consecrated the burial ground at Nardie, on the road from Northam to Newcastle in the forenoon and the burial ground at Newcastle in the afternoon. Many of the settlers attended.
