This Day in History: 1860-12-03
1860 December: Newton Augustus Phillips, the 2-year-old second son of Samuel Pole and Sophia Phillips (of Culham), was the first person buried in the St. Philip’s Anglican Church graveyard, at Culham, on the Bindi Bindi-Toodyay Road. The little boy had died on 3 December 1860.
