This Day in History: 1854-10-28

The first Agricultural Show and Annual Meeting of the Toodyay, Northam and Victoria Plains Agricultural Society were held on a Saturday at old Toodyay.  James Maclean Dempster was appointed Secretary for the coming year, and Joseph Strelley Harris was Chairman.
