Extract from the essay: This is the account of how and where this bottle (pictured) came into my temporary possession. Having volunteered to assist in the ‘Clean-Up Australia Day’ (Sunday 3 March 2013), I was designated together with Hannah Morrison, the youngest daughter of Shelley Kingston, to scavenge along the almost dry Avon River bed downstream from Duidgee Park. Hannah’s mother and sister Emelee worked above the water line. ….
